How to Play
To play TimeGems, start by looking at the grid of colorful jewels. Your objective is to create rows or columns of three or more identical gems. To do this, click or touch a gem and drag it to an adjacent square to swap their positions. A swap will only be completed if it results in a match of at least three gems.
Every match you make earns you points and, more importantly, adds extra seconds to the countdown timer at the top of the screen. If you create matches of four or five gems, you will receive a larger time bonus and more points. The game is a constant race to keep the timer from reaching zero.
As gems are cleared, new ones will fall from the top of the grid to fill the empty spaces. This can sometimes create automatic chain reactions, which also contribute to your score and time. The session ends when the timer runs out, at which point your final score is displayed. You can then start a new game to try and improve your speed and matching efficiency.
