The primary objective is to navigate through the water toward a distant island that appears in a different, random location during every session. This randomness ensures that you cannot simply memorize a single path to safety, requiring you to scan the horizon and adjust your course immediately upon starting.

Sharks patrol these waters and serve as the primary threat to your survival. You must maintain a constant awareness of your surroundings to avoid direct contact with these predators. While the ocean is also home to various types of harmless fish, these smaller creatures do not pose a danger and can be ignored as you focus on the larger threat. The challenge lies in balancing your speed toward the land with the careful movements needed to steer clear of any shark that crosses your path.

Movement requires steady input to ensure you are always making progress toward the shore. Because the land spawns in a random spot each time, the first few seconds of the game are critical for orienting yourself. Once you spot the island, you must commit to a swimming line that minimizes your exposure to the sharks circling in the area.
