Simple Spider Solitaire
Simple Spider Solitaire brings the foundational card game experience to your browser with a focus on clean visuals and straightforward mechanics. This version emphasizes the core logic of the Spider variant, where the primary objective is to organize cards into descending sequences. By stripping away unnecessary distractions, the game allows you to concentrate entirely on the board state and your next move. The interface is designed to be calming, providing a neutral backdrop for the mental exercise of sorting multiple columns of cards.
Players can tailor the difficulty to their current skill level by selecting the number of suits in play. Choosing a single suit offers a more relaxed session, ideal for learning the ropes or enjoying a quick mental break. Moving up to two or four suits significantly increases the complexity, requiring more foresight and careful management of the tableau. Regardless of the chosen difficulty, the fundamental goal remains the same: build complete sequences from King down to Ace to clear them from the table.
This digital adaptation ensures that the classic rules are strictly followed while offering the convenience of instant resets and smooth card movements. It serves as a reliable tool for sharpening strategic thinking and patience. The lack of complex menus or secondary systems means you can start a new game immediately, making it a perfect choice for short sessions or extended periods of focused play. Every deal presents a new puzzle to solve, testing your ability to uncover hidden cards and maintain open columns for maneuvering.

How to Play
To begin, select your preferred difficulty by choosing the number of suits. The game deals cards into ten columns, with only the top card of each pile facing up. Your task is to move cards to create sequences in descending order. For example, a 9 can be placed on a 10.
While you can move cards between columns regardless of suit, only sequences of the same suit can be moved as a group. If you run out of moves on the board, you can deal a new row of cards from the stock pile. Be careful, as every column must have at least one card in it before you can deal from the stock.
Complete a full sequence from King down to Ace in a single suit to clear those cards from the table. The game is won when all cards have been organized into these sequences and removed. Focus on clearing columns to create space for maneuvering larger stacks of cards.
