Space With Love begins with a clear objective: you must transform a chaotic battlefield into a zone of peace by converting active combatants into pacifists. As a peaceful alien pilot, you operate a flying saucer that hovers above the conflict. Your first task in any run is to identify soldiers on the ground and position your craft directly over them to initiate an abduction. Once you have a soldier on board, your ship works to change their perspective, turning them into a peaceful individual who no longer wishes to fight. Success depends on your ability to populate the field with these pacifists until their numbers meet or exceed the specific requirement for the current level.

Timing is the most critical factor in your mission. The soldiers on the ground are actively engaged in combat with one another. If you move too slowly or fail to intervene quickly, the soldiers will eventually eliminate each other. This creates a significant problem for your mission, as you need a living population to convert. If the number of available soldiers drops too low because of the ongoing battle, you will find yourself without enough subjects to reach your pacifist quota. You must be proactive and efficient in your movements to ensure you can save enough people before the battlefield empties.

Safety for your new converts is another major concern. While the remaining soldiers do not intentionally target the pacifists you have released, the battlefield remains a dangerous place filled with stray bullets. A random shot can easily strike a pacifist, removing them from your total count. To prevent this, you must carefully choose where you drop off your converted friends. Finding a quiet corner or a less active section of the field is essential for keeping your pacifist count high enough to pass the level.

This experience focuses on the balance between speed and strategy. You are not just a pilot; you are a mediator in a high-stakes environment. Every soldier you abduct is one less person shooting, but every second you spend in the air is a second where the ground forces could thin their own ranks. By managing your flight path and drop-off points effectively, you can successfully bring peace to the stars one soldier at a time.
