How to Play
To start your journey in Space Shift, your ship will begin moving forward automatically. Your primary task is to monitor the path ahead for any incoming meteorites or missiles. When you see an obstacle in your way, use the slow-down command to adjust your timing. On a keyboard, this is done by pressing the Space bar; on a touch screen, you tap and hold the left side. Releasing the command will allow the ship to return to its normal cruising speed.
In addition to speed control, you have access to a secondary ability that can help you in difficult situations. This is activated with the Control key on Windows or by tapping the right side of a touch screen. Use this ability strategically when obstacles are too dense to navigate by simply slowing down.
As you move through different galaxies, the appearance and behavior of hazards will change. Some areas may have faster missiles, while others are filled with large meteorites. Keep your ship clear of all objects to continue your flight. If you hit any obstacle, the session ends immediately, and you will need to start a new run from the beginning of the galaxy.
