Pyramid Solitaire Classic
Pyramid Solitaire Classic
Pyramid Solitaire Classic centers on the tactile interaction of selecting and pairing cards to clear a geometric formation. You interact with the board by clicking or tapping individual cards to highlight them, then selecting a second card to complete a pair. The core mechanic requires you to identify two cards that sum exactly to 13. Numerical cards carry their face value, while Aces are worth 1, Jacks are worth 11, and Queens are worth 12. Kings are unique as they represent the value of 13 on their own, allowing you to remove them with a single click without needing a partner card.
Managing the draw pile is essential for maintaining momentum when the pyramid cards do not offer immediate matches. You cycle through the draw pile to reveal new face-up cards, which can then be paired with available cards in the pyramid or with the top card of the waste pile. This constant scanning of the board for mathematical combinations keeps the gameplay focused on quick mental addition and logical sequencing. Every move you make is a direct result of calculating the remaining values and determining which cards are currently accessible and which are blocked by the layers above them.
Precision in your selections is vital because only cards that are not covered by other cards can be played. As you remove pairs, you gradually expose the cards underneath, opening up new possibilities for combinations. The game demands a steady hand and a sharp eye to track which cards are free and which are still locked within the pyramid structure. There is no complex inventory or secondary systems to manage; the focus remains entirely on the cards in front of you and the simple math required to clear the board.
This version of solitaire provides a clean, focused environment for single-player logic. The interface is designed for immediate response to your inputs, whether you are playing on a desktop or a mobile device. By stripping away distractions, the game emphasizes the rhythmic nature of pairing and clearing. You will find yourself constantly evaluating the board, tapping through the deck, and strategically choosing which pairs to remove first to maximize your chances of clearing the entire pyramid before the draw pile runs out.

How to Play
To begin, look at the cards currently exposed in the pyramid and the face-up card in the draw pile. Your objective is to select two cards whose numerical values add up to 13. For example, you can pair a 10 with a 3, or an 8 with a 5. To select a card, click or tap it once. If you select a second card that completes the sum of 13, both cards will be removed from the board. If the sum is not 13, the selection will reset.
Face cards have specific values: Aces are 1, Jacks are 11, and Queens are 12. Kings are the exception to the pairing rule; because they are worth 13 on their own, you simply click a King to remove it instantly. You can only interact with cards that are fully uncovered. If a card is even partially overlapped by another card in the row below it, it remains locked until the obstructing cards are cleared.
When you run out of moves on the pyramid, interact with the draw pile to flip a new card. This card can be paired with any available card in the pyramid. Continue this process of scanning, pairing, and drawing until the pyramid is cleared. If you exhaust the draw pile and have no more possible pairs, the session ends.
