Planet Pair
Planet Pair
Randomized planet positions are the defining feature of Planet Pair, ensuring that no two rounds are ever the same. This memory-based puzzle game challenges you to locate and match pairs of planets across three distinct phases. In the first phase, you start with a manageable set of three pairs. As you progress, the difficulty increases, moving to six pairs in the second phase and culminating in a final phase with nine pairs. Because the positions of the planets are shuffled every time a new phase begins, you must remain focused and adapt your memory strategy constantly.
Efficiency is a major component of the gameplay. A timer runs throughout each round, encouraging you to find all matches as quickly as possible. This adds a layer of pressure to the traditional memory format, as you strive to beat your previous times. The game uses a clean, straightforward interface where your only task is to flip cards and identify the matching celestial bodies. The planetary theme provides a consistent visual backdrop for the puzzles, with various planet designs serving as the icons you must memorize.
This is a single-player experience designed for short, focused sessions. Since the game does not save progress between sessions, every time you play is a fresh attempt at a perfect run. The increasing complexity of the phases provides a natural progression within a single round, testing your short-term memory as the grid of cards expands. Whether you are playing on a desktop or a mobile device, the goal remains the same: clear the board by finding all planet pairs in the shortest time possible.

How to Play
To play Planet Pair, you must find and match identical planet cards on the grid. Use your mouse to point and left-click on a card to flip it over, or tap the screen if you are using a mobile device. Once a card is revealed, select a second card to see if it matches. If the two planets are the same, they will remain visible. If they do not match, they will flip back over, and you must remember their positions for future turns.
The game progresses through three distinct phases. You begin with three pairs, and once those are matched, you move to a grid with six pairs. The final phase features nine pairs. Because the positions are randomized at the start of every phase, you cannot rely on previous layouts. A timer is active during your play, so try to find all the matches as quickly as you can to finish the round with a fast time.
Concentration is key as the number of cards increases. Pay close attention to the specific details of each planet to avoid confusion. Since the game is a single-player experience that starts fresh every time, you can play as many rounds as you like to practice your memory skills and try to beat the clock.
