When you click or tap to fire, your character will bounce like a ball. This means you must lock onto your target while simultaneously calculating where the recoil will send you. If you shoot downward, you will jump upward. If you shoot to the right, you will be pushed to the left. This inverse movement system is the core challenge of the game. You must be very careful not to bounce into hazards while trying to line up a shot on the monsters.

The game features a switch mechanic that allows for cooperative play between two characters. You and a friend can take turns managing the monsters on the screen. Each player is responsible for their own targets, but the movement of one can affect the positioning for the next. The levels progress in difficulty as you move forward, requiring more precise shots to navigate the terrain. Because the gun is so bouncy, every interaction with the environment is a test of your ability to control the recoil.
