Grand Theft Stunt focuses on precision driving across high-altitude platforms where the margin for error is zero. You operate a luxury vehicle that requires steady handling to navigate narrow paths and steep drops. The primary objective is to reach the finish line before the countdown reaches zero, balancing the need for speed with the necessity of staying on the track. Falling off the cliff results in an immediate failure, requiring a restart of the current attempt. This creates a tight loop of trial and error where you learn the specific layout of each path to improve your completion time.

There are 10 distinct levels to navigate, each presenting a different configuration of turns and straightaways. Because the car is described as extremely expensive and fragile in the context of these heights, the gameplay emphasizes careful throttle control over reckless acceleration. You must manage your momentum to ensure the car does not slide off the edges during sharp turns. The challenge lies in finding the exact speed that allows for a timely finish without compromising the safety of the vehicle.

Each session is a standalone challenge where your focus is entirely on the clock and the terrain. Since progress does not carry between sessions, the goal is to master the mechanics of the car within the immediate level. The 3D environment provides a clear view of the obstacles ahead, allowing you to plan your approach to each section of the stunt track.
