Dominoes BIG
The highest double tile dictates the opening move in Dominoes BIG, setting the pace for a classic board game experience that emphasizes matching and tactical placement. Players must carefully manage their hand of six or seven tiles, ensuring they can match the point values on the ends of the growing chain. The core mechanic revolves around the double-six; if no player holds this specific tile, the lead falls to the owner of the next strongest double. This initial placement creates the two open ends that define the field of play for the remainder of the round.
Strategic depth emerges as the board expands. Every turn requires a player to connect a tile from their hand to one of the exposed ends of the domino chain, matching the number of points exactly. If a player cannot make a move, they must turn to the pickaxe, drawing from the remaining face-down tiles until a playable match is found. This adds a layer of tension, as a growing hand can become a liability if the game reaches a stalemate. The flow of the game is constant, moving from player to player as the available options on the board shift with every placement.
Victory is achieved by emptying your hand before your opponents. The race to place all tiles requires foresight, as players try to block their rivals while keeping their own paths open. However, the game can also reach a blocked state where no further moves are possible for any participant. In these instances, the win is determined by point totals. The player holding the fewest points on their remaining tiles is declared the winner, rewarding those who managed to play their high-value tiles early in the session.
This digital adaptation focuses on the pure mechanics of the traditional board game. It provides a clean interface for managing your tiles and observing the board state. Because the game supports multiple participants, the dynamic changes based on whether you are facing one, two, or three opponents. Each session is a self-contained match where the goal remains consistent: outmaneuver the table and clear your hand to claim the top spot.

How to Play
To begin a round of Dominoes BIG, tiles are distributed face-down to all participants. If you are playing with two people, you will receive seven tiles; in games with three or four players, everyone receives six. The player holding the double-six tile places it in the center to start the game. If the double-six was not dealt, the player with the highest double tile takes the first turn.
On your turn, you must select a tile from your hand that has a matching number of points on at least one side to connect to the ends of the dominoes already on the board. If you have a match, place it to extend the chain. If you do not have any playable tiles, you must draw from the 'pickaxe'—the pile of remaining face-down tiles—until you find a match or the pile is empty.
The primary goal is to be the first person to play every tile in your hand. If the game becomes blocked and no one can make a move, the player with the lowest total point count on their remaining tiles wins the round.
