Classic Solitaire: Time and Score
Classic Solitaire: Time and Score brings the traditional card-sorting experience to your desktop with a focus on precision and speed. You interact with a standard 52-card deck, aiming to organize every card into four foundation piles. The game requires you to use your mouse to click and drag cards across the tableau, building sequences in descending order while alternating colors. This version emphasizes the relationship between your decision-making speed and your final performance, tracking both your time and your score as you work through the deck.
Success in this card game depends on your ability to scan the board quickly and identify the most efficient moves. You must uncover face-down cards by moving the face-up cards on top of them, creating opportunities to access the rest of the deck. The foundation piles are the ultimate destination for every card, starting with the Ace and ending with the King for each of the four suits: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades. Managing the tableau effectively ensures that you do not run out of moves before the deck is exhausted.
Timing is a critical component of this specific iteration. Because the game tracks how long it takes you to clear the board, every second spent contemplating a move affects your standing. You must balance the need for careful planning with the drive to finish as quickly as possible. This creates a steady rhythm where you are constantly looking for the next sequence to build or the next card to flip. The scoring system rewards your efficiency, making each session a test of your card-sorting skills.
This is a single-player experience designed for those who appreciate the logic and structure of traditional solitaire. There are no complex unlocks or persistent rewards to worry about; instead, the focus remains entirely on the immediate challenge of the current deck. Each session starts fresh, allowing you to focus on improving your personal best score and time without the distraction of external progression systems. It is a straightforward, focused way to engage with a classic game that has been enjoyed for generations.

How to Play
To begin, use your mouse to click and drag cards within the tableau. You must arrange cards in descending order, such as placing a 9 on a 10, while alternating between red and black suits. The primary objective is to clear the tableau by moving all cards to the four foundation piles at the top of the screen. Each foundation pile must start with an Ace and follow with the 2, 3, and so on, up to the King of the same suit.
If you run out of moves on the tableau, you can draw from the remaining deck to find new cards. Managing the space in your columns is vital; only a King can be placed in an empty tableau slot. As you play, the game tracks your time and your score, so you should aim to make your moves as efficiently as possible.
Each session is a standalone challenge. You win once every card is correctly placed in its respective foundation pile. Because there are no save features, you should aim to complete the entire deck in one sitting to record your best score.
